Jeremiah 29:11 ~ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
God gives us permission in this passage to DREAM. Most of us don't dream enough. If someone where to ask you what are your dreams for your future or what are you trusting God for, what would you say? I don't mean occupational goals, although there is nothing wrong with those. But what about dreaming that results in building character, the kind of dreams that cultivates a close, personal relationship with the God of the universe. Dreams are personal, they are often accompanied by a strong desire to fulfill them. They may seem strange to others but keep in mind, God gave the dream to YOU, not the person you're sharing it with. So if someone responds with "You've got to be kidding." Keep in mind God is Big, and if our dream is in line with God's dream for our life...the sky is the limit. Be bold and walk by faith and not by sight.
